Black leotard, pink convertible tights, hair in neat bun, pink split-sole ballet shoes.  No shorts for ballet class.  Solid black ballet skirts may be won with teacher's permission.  Absolutely no ponytails for ballet class.

MINI TEAM, PETITE TEAM, PETITE ELITE:

*Black or pink leotard for all classes.

*Jazz Class: pink or skin-colored convertible tights, hair in bun, Bloch Neoflex jazz shoes in color - tan.  Black dance shorts are permitted. 

* Acro Class: pink or skin-colored convertible tights or skin-colored stirrup tights, hair in low bun, low pony tail, or low braid, bare feet.  Black dance shorts are permitted.

Lyrical Class:pink or skin-colored convertible tights or skin-colored stirrup tights, hair in bun bare feet.  Black dance shorts are permitted.

*Hip Hop: hair in pony tail or bun, clean sneakers not worn outdoors.  Dance pants or dance shorts

JUNIOR ELITE & TRAINEE TEAM: 

DANCERS MAY WEAR COLORED LEOTARDS TO JAZZ, HIP-HOP, AND TECHNIQUE CLASSES

CREATIVE MOVEMENT / TAP:

Black or pink leoatard (if wearing a skirt, it must be attached to the leotard).  Pink or skin-colored convertible tights.  Hair in bun.  TAN TAP SHOES WITH VELCRO OR BUCKLE STRAP.  See handbook for photo.  

TAP / HIP-HOP:

Black or pink leoatard (if wearing a skirt, it must be attached to the leotard).  Pink or skin-colored convertible tights.  Hair in bun or neat pony tail. BLACK TAP SHOES WITH LACES.   See handbook for photo.  Black dance shorts are permitted.

TAP 2/3:

Black leoatard.  Pink or skin-colored convertible tights.  Hair in bun or neat pony tail. BLACK TAP SHOES WITH LACES.   See handbook for photo.  Black dance shorts are permitted.

JAZZ:

Level 2 and up Jazz, including Primary and Upper Primary: Black leoatrd, pink or skin-colored contertible tights, hair in bun, Bloch Neoflex jazz shoes in color - tan.  Black dance shorts are permitted. 

Lyrical 1: Black or pink leotard, pink or skin-colored contertible tights, hair in bun, bare feet.  Black dance shorts are permitted.

ACRO 1: Black or pink leotard (no skirt).  Pink or skin-colored convertible tights or stirrup tights.  Bare feet.  Hair in low bun, neat low pony tail, or low braid.  Fitted black dance shorts are permitted.   If not wearing tights, black dance shorts are required.  

ACRO 2 AND UP: Black  (no skirt).  Pink or skin-colored convertible tights or stirrup tights.  Bare feet.  Hair in low bun, neat low pony tail, or low braid.  Fitted black dance shorts are permitted.   If not wearing tights, black dance shorts are required. 

Leotards are recommended but not mandatory for hip-hop.  Fitted tank or tee, dance shorts, or leggings permitted.  Hair in neat pony tail or neatly pulled back half up - half down.  Sneakers that are ONLY worn for dance class.  Instructor will choose a specific sneaker for recital.  

White or black fitted tank, black fitted shorts (to the knee), black fitted dance pants, or black tights.  Black ballet shoes, black jazz shoes, black tap shoes.  

Baggy sweats are NOT permitted.  During colder months, your child should wear a long sleeve leotard or a fitted ballet sweater.  Fitted warm ups will only be allowed during the first 10 minutes of class.  All competition team dancers will be required to purchase a custom Spotlight Performing Arts Center warm up jacket.
